Coffee with a Teacher
Coffee chat with teachers working in crisis-affected areas is facilitated by Save the Children. The chat will take place during the networking breaks of the High-level Conference in meeting rooms River 3 – River 5 (Riverside area of the venue the EGG).
You will have an opportunity to meet online teachers from three crisis-affected countries (Mozambique, Uganda, Mauritania) and learn more about their work, challenges and hopes.
Slido
You will be able to actively participate in the event and take part in polls. We will use the interactive tool Sli.do during plenaries.
You will be able to access Sli.do from your smartphone using the following code: #EIE2023. If you are following the event remotely, the Slido window will be visible next to the web streaming.

Registration
Registration will be accessible from 12:30 to 14:00. Please bring your ID and come well in advance to avoid any queues.
Please note that the venue has limited capacity. Only participants whose registration has been previously approved will be let in.
Catering
Catering is organised at the conference venue. The following meals are covered:
- 12:30 – 14:00 Lunch and networking session
- 15:30 – 16:00 Coffee break and Teacher’s break
Interpretation
Please note that the event will be mainly held in English. Interpretation in French will be provided.

How to get around Brussels
From the Zaventem airport to the venue The EGG (Rue Bara 175)
Public transportation: The best way to arrive directly to the venue from the Zaventem international airport is by taking the train to the Southern station Midi and then walk to the conference venue the EGG (Rue Bara 175).
Itinerary: When you land, go towards the exit, then go to level -1 to take the train direction ‘Brussels Zuid-Midi’. Once arrived, the conference venue is reachable by foot (850m). Total cost of the train ticket: 9.50€
Taxi: A taxi ride from the Zaventem airport to the conference venue The EGG will take approximately 40 minutes (in normal traffic conditions) and cost approximately 50-70€.
From the Zaventem airport to the hotel ParkInn by Radisson Brussels Midi (Pl. Marcel Broodthaers 3
Public transportation: A direct train connects the Zaventem international airport with the Southern station Midi. The hotel ParkInn by Radisson Brussels Midi is very close to the train station.
Itinerary: When you land, go towards the exit, then go to level -1 to take the train direction ‘Brussels Zuid-Midi’. Once arrived, the hotel ParkInn by Radisson is at 140m. Total cost of the train ticket: 9.50€
